Xi Jinping Leaves Beijing for the Sixth BRICS Summit and Visits to Four Countries Including Brazil

In the morning of July 13, 2014, President Xi Jinping, at the invitation of President Dilma Rousseff of the Federative Republic of Brazil, President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner of Argentine Republic, President Nicolas Maduro Moros of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and President of the State Council and the Council of Ministers Raul Castro of the Republic of Cuba, left Beijing by special plane for the sixth BRICS Summit in Brazil and his state visits to the above four countries. During the visit in Brazil, President Xi Jinping will attend the China-Latin America and the Caribbean Summit.

Wang Huning, member of the Political Bureau and Director of the Policy Research Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Li Zhanshu, member of the Political Bureau and Secretariat and Director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, State Councilor Yang Jiechi and others accompanied President Xi Jinping for the visit.
