| Ambassador Wu Sike attends Chinese paper-cutting Exhibition in Cairo |

On June 14, Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Wu Sike attended the opening ceremony of Chinese paper-cutting Exhibition in Cairo. Ambassador Wu said that China is blessed with rich and colorful folk culture and such an event would play an active role in enhancing mutual understanding between the Chinese and Egyptian people and promoting further development of China-Egypt relation. The seven-day event, held at the Display Hall of the Cairo-based Helwan University, was sponsored by the Chinese Fujian Provincial Cultural Department. On display were designs conceived by ancient Chinese novels and works depicting normal life in countryside throughout China.
